Bagmaking: IPad mini case and more zipped cases

A little while ago my old school friend Fara ordered some small crossbody bags for her daughters. Very simple, but they fit their nick nacks.

More recently she requested I make another one, slightly wider, to fit one of her daughters friends iPad minis. As the girls name is Rose, she wanted a pastelly rose fabric on the outside, so I sent her some links, and she chose this pretty print from Kaela Elliot.

I used this crimson polka for the lining, which came from the same shop

Bagmaking: Little zipped pouches and Bunting

I am furiously sewing at the moment to try and get all requests and orders done.

Below is a set of three zipped pouches that I did after someone saw my Ramona bag and asked for something in that fabric. I had just enough to make these. The first is pencil case sized and the other two are crayon/makeup and coin sized.

I also agreed to make some bunting for the school fair. Thank goodness someone pre-cut these or I'd be even more grumpy about it than I already am. It was sooo tedious, and impossible to get neat points because the fabric is quite chunky. Bleugh. Done though.
