Bagmaking: Reversible Hobo by Mrs H #2

Done in a bit of a rush, but was desperate to use this fabric. I only just had enough of it. So Alice-in-the-Middle is covered on the front by the strap. Such is life!

This was my 2nd hobo ( I rarely make two of anything, so I must like this pattern) and won me 1st prize in the hobo sewalong!

Honestly this is a great bag for a beginner. I used low loft fleece on this one so its lightly padded. It has one zip pocket inside.

Bagmaking: Reversible Hobo by Mrs H #1

I made quite a lot over Easter (in comparison to my usual slow chug) and I'm getting very behind with my posts. As a result, I'm going to keep them short and sweet.
At bag camp, Christine and Jane made hobos by Mrs H - I wouldn't have considered this pattern unless I'd seen it in the flesh as I like 'structured' bags, however I fell in love and immediately earmarked the beautiful fabric I'd bought from SimplySolids

This is the result. The faux leather was from ebay. The fabric and lining fabric is from the MoMo Flying colours collection.
